thanks to my cousin Vince Lopez from Arizona, I was able to add about 500 more living cousins from my MAYORGA pedigree in our Family Tree! (almost 14,000 total individuals)
The Conferencia Iberoamericana de Genealogia is coming. It is being held at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 9–14, 2013.
The conference is in September, and I plan on going (assuming someone checks their email soon!). I was wondering if anyone else from here will be there.
Hola Edgar, en mis registros encuentro que Juan Hernández Gamiño el que casó con Ana Domínguez de los Inojos cerca de 1660 era hijo de Domingo Hernández Gamiño que casó cerca de 1627 con Juana
Has anyone been able to find from which side of the family did Ana Francisca and Maria Gabay got their surname? I have tried to find that surname among Spanish surnames with little success. However, I have found that Gabay or Gabai is a Jewish surname. Further I learned that Gabay is a person that performs duties similar to an usher. Here is a description:
I've run into an Iron Curtain with my 4th GGF Diego Martin Flores. He was born probably abt 1730 and died 27 Jul 1808 in Colotlan. He married my 4th GGM Gertrudis Leano.
