I am working on the descendants of Tomas de Villalpando who was from Leon, Guanajuato, and his wife Maria Velez.

Can someone direct me on where to find Mexican padrones. I see many posters talking about them, but I can't seem to find them at family search.

Anyone have a link to records for Fresnillo in the early 1700's?

While I was paging through some of the notary records from Guadalajra, I stumbled upon a couple of entries relating to the Medinilla de Alvarado family.

Raphael Femat married Juana Raphaela Aguilar after 14 march 1789 (date of informacion matrimonial) in zacatecas (sagrario). They both state coyote as their caste.

Has anyone ever heard of Muertos, Zacatecas, New Spain? If so what is the current area of Zacatecas closest to this location.

Tomas de Villalpando and Michaela Romo de Vivar had several children, most likely born in Rincon de Romos, which included Juan Villalpando. I have not found their marriage record.
